Skating shoes. Not nessesary, but most skaters own atleast one pair. Most get DC's, but you don't have to. As long as you get some trainers that are wide footed for support, and are comfy, they will do!
A skateboard, duh, "shredsled" so you can actually skate. Can't board without a sled!
Specialised Skate Helmet, to protect forehead n back of head. Ditto with pads!
Knee and Elbow pads. Not really needed for street tricks, unless you're a newbie, but they are a must for vert tricking!
